Book Synopsis The Scrolls of Heaven by : P. Moses Rambissoon

Download or read book The Scrolls of Heaven written by P. Moses Rambissoon. This book was released on 2011-03. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Lord Jesus appeared unto me. He had a very beautiful countenance and he was shining like the sun. When I saw Him I got very weak. He took me by the hand and lifted me up and called me "Moses". Then three months later I was in church worshiping and I saw a man coming down from heaven with pure white clothes. He was shining and glorious and in his hand there was a scroll. He gave it to me, I took it and the man went back up. Seven years later I was in a prayer meeting and suddenly I saw the whole church light up bright and when I looked on the pulpit I saw the angel standing there. He was bronze looking like he had come out of a furnace with bright fire around him. He pointed to me and said "I have come to work with you." I believe that all the mysteries of the scrolls that were revealed to me are unfolded in this book. I have a commission from the Lord to feed His sheep and shepherds, and open my hands wide unto the poor. My hope is that this book with bless, encourage and enlighten you.

Book Synopsis The Seven Mountain Prophecy by : Johnny Enlow

Download or read book The Seven Mountain Prophecy written by Johnny Enlow. This book was released on 2008. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God is preparing a spiritual tsunami to sweep the nations and reclaim our culture for Christ, says author Johnny Enlow. He describes seven culture-shaping areas of influence over each society--media, government, education, economy, family, religion, and celebration (arts and entertainment)--that are the keys to taking a nation for the kingdom of God. The purpose of this book is to draw the church's attention to these areas; help each individual determine his or her specific assignment in this mission; and then to offer insight into the nature of the battles involved in this "spiritual tsunami," as the author calls it. Many Christians do not grasp that God's favor for us to succeed is already upon us and is part of His end-time strategy to establish Jesus as Ruler of the Nations before His return. Readers will come to understand that this favor is divinely strategic and corresponds to the place of each person's ministry assignment. Many have a spiritual poverty vision and poor eschatology, two factors that have robbed us of our blessing and caused us to fail to reclaim cultural influences for Christ. The book is laid out to address these two misunderstandings, with the first several chapters specifically aimed at correcting lack of vision and misguided understanding of the end times. Each chapter that follows provides intensive, detailed study of each "mountain" of influence, how it will be taken and by whom, and what resistance will be encountered by individuals assigned to claim this mountain.

Book Synopsis Disciples' Literal New Testament by : Michael Magill

Download or read book Disciples' Literal New Testament written by Michael Magill. This book was released on 2011. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If You Love God's Word You Will Love This New Testament! The Disciples' Literal New Testament sets you free from our artificial 460 year old chapter and verse structure, replacing it with paragraphing that reflects the flow of thought in the original Greek writings. Paragraph headings make that flow of thought explicit to you, speeding your understanding of the NT books. This translation retains the writing style of the apostles themselves, rather than transforming their Greek ways of writing into an elegant or contemporary English writing style, as has been beautifully done so many times. It is the same translation as the author's New Testament TransLine, first published by Zondervan in 2002. Now you can read the New Testament as the original writers intended it, and see it with a clarity formerly available only to those who could carefully study their Greek New Testament. You can even see the difference in writing style between Matthew, Mark and Luke! Used along with your standard Bible version, you will profit from both methods of translation. *Easily grasp the relationship of the whole and the parts of each book with the big-picture overview outlines that use the words of the original author. *Gain quick insight into the flow of thought from descriptive paragraph headings that summarize the main point of each paragraph in its context. *You can visually follow the apostles' thinking because the 'Intelligent Paragraphing' visually displays their main and subordinate thoughts. *The hindrance to your understanding caused by our artificial chapter and verse structure is eliminated by paragraphing based on the Greek writings. *You will more fully appreciate the minds and thinking patterns and intent of the original writers because the translation corresponds more closely to their words and their grammar and their sentence structure. *Deepen and expand your understanding of the New Testament by meditating on the notes containing alternative renderings, explanations of what is being said, and different views of the meaning.
