No one disputes the horrendous nature of slavery, and slavery must be obliterated from the earth. Slavery was a part of American and world history, as was the Confederacy and the Civil War. We must not forget our past deeds, or we risk repeating them. We cannot allow pandering "politicians" lacking the courage to defend our history from destroying it. Commanding General of the Confederate Army, Samuel Cooper and Commanding General of the Army of Northern Virginia, Robert E. Lee.
