Land has been bought across the Charles river and the opportunity is at hand to make the new Technology an imposing feature of Boston as well as to enable it to play properly its important role among the country's educational institutions. The fund that the Alumni are raising is not for the purpose of showing a burst of enthusiasm or for expressing sentiment.
