It's true that I have helped people in critical condition to get well, whether that be mentally, physically, or spiritually. And I was born with certain gifts that have put me on this path of healing and that I use in my work. But I present these stories to show you what can be accomplished when we adhere to the ancient Keetoowah mindset and teachings-to stand as one with all people and obtain a perfect state of mind in all that we do. We maintain and keep our heritage by practicing a perfect state of mind. Through this practice, we are kind and considerate to all Creation. That's the model that you want to follow. This model personality represents the Original Laws. You don't have to be at a ceremonial ground or at church to do that. We take this practice with us wherever we go. Things happen for your benefit when you're that way.In this way, we might say that the stories in this book are not about miracles. They are examples of the Creator's ability to help us, which has always been there. It is through this unbroken connection that we must strive to uphold the Original Laws, which I have written about in my previous books, Stand as One: Spiritual Teachings of Keetoowah and Original Teachings: Designed to Stand as One. This book of healing stories is meant to accompany the other two books and to help explain the spiritual knowledge contained in them.
