Análisis abordados desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social en un momento de profundos cambios sociales en general y de manera particular en los ámbitos académicos, profesionales e investigadores del Trabajo Social. El libro se encuentra estructurado en torno a dieciocho capítulos, nueve dedicados al análisis en México y otros nueve a España. En su elaboración han participando un total de 36 docentes, investigadores y profesionales procedentes de diferentes universidades, centros de investigación, instituciones públicas y organizaciones sociales; concretamente: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Murcia, Universidad Internacional de Andalucía, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad de Alicante, Universidad de Jaén, Universidad de Huelva, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Consejo General del Trabajo Social de España, Fundación ONCE, Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras y Centro Penitenciario Madrid VI Aranjuez (Madrid). En suma se trata de un libro de transferencia de investigaciones de alto interés estratégico que pretende contribuir a la construcción de conocimientos y prácticas sociales.
