Individually, the chapters offer deep insights into a specific education system and, together, the studies allow for a comparison and holistic understanding of multilingualism in European education.

Its ten contributions present newly collected data from different parts of the continent seen through diverse theoretical perspectives. The collection begins its journey through Europe in the British Isles.
