Se distiguen dos niveles diferentes de integracion: 1) integracion organizativa, que implica una distribucion equitativa entre los generos dentro de los diversos cuerpos directivos y de toma de decision con respecto a las jerarquias 2) integracion social que implica una distribucion equitativa de los recursos, posiciones y recompensas entre los generos en el conjunto de la sociedad. El informe se centra en los vinculos entre la integracion organizativa de la mujer en los cuerpos de toma de decision de la politica publica y la promocion de la igualdad de genero a traves de la politica publica, con particular referencia a las experiencias noruegas desde el proceso de establecimiento de un estatus igual entre los sexos como una meta general de la politica publica. En la primera parte se analizan los conceptos de igualdad de estatus, igualdad de generos y problemas de generos. La segunda parte trata de las experiencias noruegas con referencia a la investigacion previa sobre las condiciones de vida de la mujer en noruega y la transicion respecto a los roles y estatus sociales de la mujer noruega en las dos ultimas decadas.
