Book Synopsis Guide to Nmr Spectral Interpretation by : Antonio Randazzo

Download or read book Guide to Nmr Spectral Interpretation written by Antonio Randazzo. This book was released on 2018. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with practical strategies, methods and explanations to interpret the NMR spectra of small organic molecules. In particular, it is organized in a way that basic 1H- and 13iNMR concepts are introduced and immediately applied in a number of problems, solved and discussed in a step-by-step fashion. It contains almost exclusively real NMR data and it describes how to interpret the chemical shift, intensity and splitting pattern of the proton and carbon NMR signals (Chapters 1-5), paying attention to the effects of the magnetically non-equivalent nuclei (Chapter 4). The role of the solvent is also explained (Chapter 6), and a description of the interpretation of the most common two-dimensional NMR experiments is reported in Chapter 7. Chapter 8 is dedicated to the strategy for structural elucidation, while Chapter 9 contains exclusively summary problems.

Book Synopsis NMR Data Interpretation Explained by : Neil E. Jacobsen

Download or read book NMR Data Interpretation Explained written by Neil E. Jacobsen. This book was released on 2016-10-21. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Through numerous examples, the principles of the relationship between chemical structure and the NMR spectrum are developed in a logical, step-by-step fashion Includes examples and exercises based on real NMR data including full 600 MHz one- and two-dimensional datasets of sugars, peptides, steroids and natural products Includes detailed solutions and explanations in the text for the numerous examples and problems and also provides large, very detailed and annotated sets of NMR data for use in understanding the material Describes both simple aspects of solution-state NMR of small molecules as well as more complex topics not usually covered in NMR books such as complex splitting patterns, weak long-range couplings, spreadsheet analysis of strong coupling patterns and resonance structure analysis for prediction of chemical shifts Advanced topics include all of the common two-dimensional experiments (COSY, ROESY, NOESY, TOCSY, HSQC, HMBC) covered strictly from the point of view of data interpretation, along with tips for parameter settings

Book Synopsis NMR-Spectroscopy: Modern Spectral Analysis by : Ursula Weber

Download or read book NMR-Spectroscopy: Modern Spectral Analysis written by Ursula Weber. This book was released on 2008-11-21. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The state-of-the-art in NMR spectral analysis. This interactive tutorial provides readers with a comprehensive range of software tools and techniques, as well as the necessary theoretical knowledge required to analyze their spectra and obtain the correct NMR parameters. Modern Spectral Analysis provides expert guidance, by presenting efficient strategies to extract NMR parameters from measured spectra. A database of selected spectra and modern, powerful WIN-NMR software designed by Bruker are provided on the enclosed CD-ROM. The programs provided are 1 D WIN-NMR, WIN-DAISY, WIN-DR and WIN-DYNAMICS, and direct data exchange between all these programs is possible. Readers are shown how they can obtain maximum structural information from their 1 D NMR spectra with time-saving computer assistance. Practical problems that can occur and their solutions are discussed at length using clear, easy-to-follow examples. Both homo- and heteronuclear and first- and second-order spin systems are demonstrated. Moreover, relaxation analysis, nuclear Overhauser effects and magnetic site exchange are all covered in this hands-on guide to NMR spectral analysis.

Download or read book Analysis of NMR Spectra written by R. A. Hoffman. This book was released on 2012-12-06. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, which has evolved only within the last 20 years, has become one of the very important tools in chemistry and physics. The literature on its theory and application has grown immensely and a comprehensive and adequate treatment of all branches by one author, or even by several, becomes increasingly difficult. This series is planned to present articles written by experts working in various fields of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and will contain review articles as well as progress reports and original work. Its main aim, however, is to fill a gap, existing in literature, by publishing articles written by specialists, which take the reader from the introductory stage to the latest development in the field. The editors are grateful to the authors for the time and effort spent in writing the articles, and for their invaluable cooperation. The Editors Analysis of NMR Spectra A Guide for Chemists R. A. Book Synopsis A Guide to the Complete Interpretation of Infrared Spectral of Organic Structures by : Noël P.G. Roeges

Download or read book A Guide to the Complete Interpretation of Infrared Spectral of Organic Structures written by Noël P.G. Roeges. This book was released on 1994-09-20. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The accurate interpretation of infrared spectra of organic structures is an extremely important tool for the analytical chemist. Using up-to-date source material, this volume presents a compilation of the infrared absorption regions of ninety of the most important organic molecular fragments. This highly practical guide introduces the reader to a straightforward technique for determining all the fundamental vibrations of a molecular fragment. The set of normal vibrations and the infrared absorption regions of ninety molecular fragments are then discussed and tabulated. The discussion of each fragment is accompanied by a large number of references. A Guide to the Complete Interpretation of Infrared Spectra of Organic Structures offers the analytical chemist the possibility of a more profound interpretation of infrared spectra. In addition, it assumes only a basic knowledge of infrared spectra, and so will prove very useful for non-specialists who use infrared spectroscopy in analysis.
