As always, you are encouraged to adjust the schedule and materials as you need to in order to best work within your educational program. Workflow: Students will look at the individual panels of the Big Book of History and then complete the appropriate assignment worksheets in the parent lesson planner. They should be encouraged to complete as many of them as possible, as well as working on those related to the research paper in order to develop these important skills. The goal is to help students develop an understanding of different types of historical events and how they relate to others around the world in the same time period, while seeing clearly how Christian history has always been part of the historical timeline of our world. Lesson Scheduling: The curriculum is designed to be done three days a week over 36 weeks. Two days a week are devoted to working through the Big Book of History timeline. The third day is spent working on a special assignment corresponding with the book Noah s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box.
