Book Synopsis Resonances in the Earth-Ionosphere Cavity by : A.P. Nickolaenko

Download or read book Resonances in the Earth-Ionosphere Cavity written by A.P. Nickolaenko. This book was released on 2002-07-31. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book on electromagnetic resonance phenomena describes a general approach to physical problems, ways to solve them, and properties of the solutions obtained. Attention is given to the discussion and interpretation of formal and experimental data and their links to global atmospheric conditions such as the dynamics of global thunderstorm activity, variations of the effective height of the lower ionosphere, etc. Schumann resonance is related to worldwide thunderstorm activity, and simultaneously, to global properties of the lower ionosphere. Transverse resonance is predominantly a local phenomenon containing information on the local height and conductivity of the lower ionosphere and on nearby thunderstorm activity. Transient events in ELF-VLF radio propagation are also treated. These are natural pulsed radio signals and/or abrupt changes of manmade VLF radio signals. The transients associated with cloud-to-ionosphere discharges (red sprites, blue jets, trolls) are discussed, and clarification of the underlying physical ideas and their practical applications to pioneer results achieved in the field recently are emphasised.

Book Synopsis Frequency by : Penney Peirce

Download or read book Frequency written by Penney Peirce. This book was released on 2011-08-16. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Frequency gives readers the tools to understand how and why their natural frequency interacts with the world around them. Because we see the world from a physical perspective, we often don't notice what's right in front of us -- that our spirit, thoughts, emotions, and body are all made of energy. Inside us and everywhere around us, life is vibrating. In fact, each of us has a personal vibration that accurately communicates who we are to the world and helps shape our reality. Frequency shows readers how to feel their personal vibration, improve it, and use it to shift their life from ordinary to extraordinary. A simple shift in frequency can change depression to peace, anger to stillness, and fear to enthusiasm. Weaving together basic ideas from quantum physics with proven intuition development techniques, Frequency takes readers into deeper concepts only hinted at in recent popular books and DVD's featuring the Law of Attraction. By learning to refine the "conscious sensitivity" of their body, readers can improve relationships, find upscale solutions to problems, and materialize a life that contains everything they want and need to live their destiny. Frequency gives readers a reassuring, step-by-step roadmap into a positive state of awareness that Peirce calls The Intuition Age. By learning to use "frequency principles" -- methods based on the way energy actually functions -- readers can keep their energy level high and productive, receive subtle information directly from the environment via "empathic resonance," and quickly free themselves from negative or low "vibrations."

Download or read book Radio Frequency Interference in Communications Systems written by Bruce Elbert. This book was released on 2016-02-01. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This authoritative resource describes how to assess and mitigate RF interference in radio systems and presents effective methods to identify and resolve RFI before, during and after its appearance. Authored by a leading authority in the field, this book provides engineers and managers with the knowledge they need in the control of Radio Frequency Interference. Readers find practical guidance in an array of critical areas, including engineering of radiocommunication and wireless systems in light of RFI, identifying RFI modes, electromagnetic compatibility and spectrum sharing. Key concepts in evaluating radio frequency interference, propagation on obstructed paths, interference protection radio and RFI resolution and mitigation techniques such as filtering, spectral capture, radiolocation, cancellation and cognitive radio are covered in this book. This book concludes with prospective for RFI resolution in future radiocommunication systems.

Book Synopsis Handbook of Frequency Allocations and Spectrum Protection for Scientific Uses by : National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine

Download or read book Handbook of Frequency Allocations and Spectrum Protection for Scientific Uses written by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. This book was released on 2015-11-02. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The electromagnetic spectrum is a vital part of our environment. Measures of radio frequency emissions from natural phenomena enable both practical applications, such as weather predictions and studies of the changing of Earth's climate here at home, and reveal the physical properties of cosmic sources. The spectrum is therefore a resource to be used wisely now and to be protected for future generations. Handbook of Frequency Allocations and Spectrum Protection for Scientific Uses: Second Edition sets forth the principles for the allocation and protection of spectral bands for services using the radio spectrum for scientific research. This report describes the radio frequency bands used by scientific services and includes relevant regulatory information and discussion of scientific use of frequency bands. This reference will guide spectrum managers and spectrum regulatory bodies on science issues and serve as a resource to scientists and other spectrum users.
