Keistimewaan yang dimilikinya membuat drama berbeda dengan fiksi prosa. Untuk mencapai pemahaman dasar dalam pembelajaran drama, buku ini memberikan beberapa pembahasan yaitu (1) sastra dan drama, (2) sejarah drama, (3) pengertian drama, (4) struktur drama (5) tokoh dan ( 6) bahasa dan retorika.
