The comparison is based on the findings of previous research and scientific work or general secondary research. Due to the increasing attractiveness of the UAE as a tourist destination, as well as its growing economic importance, it is essential to deal with the deeply rooted traditions in the Arab culture and their customs in business life. This paper aims to provide an overview of the UAE. The awareness of different cultures shall be awakened and used to avoid cultural misunderstandings in business and tourism, while promoting longterm relationships.
