Nature is neither forgiving or forgetful. Just ask the Mesopotamians, Aztecs, Incas, Babylonians and now modern industrial humans – all have followed the same path to reducing their environment to dust by overpopulation, deforestation, wars and greed. Human civilisations all follow a familiar destructive pattern. We always seem to be at war with someone else – as if we enjoy taking what is not ours. Hopefully this book will raise awareness and persuade the reader to act now for future generations.
