She reached towards his thick, mussed hair and tugged a runaway strand behind his ear. Their eyes met as never before. She looked deep into them and replied softly, "Yes... He did." Tanner seemed stunned by her resolve but Anabelle had reached her limits as a woman. If she was to assume her rightful place in this life, alongside these men, this was the time to stake her claim.
