Thomas Carter, first minister of Woburn, Mass., was published by Mrs. Clara A. Carter of Leominster, Mass., and Mrs. Sarah A. Carter of Fitzwilliam, N. H. This publication was designed to be merely a contribution to the history of the Carter Family, and was collected and arranged for the Carter Family Association, an organization formed at the general Reunion of the Carter Family at Woburn, Mass., in 1884. This Association unfortunately was not maintained, but the present volume is also issued as a further contribution to the history of another branch of the same family, namely, Thomas3 Carter, son of Thomas DEGREES Carter, youngest son and child of Rev.
