Dry and wet (slurry) explosives and blasting agents have comprised the bulk of these products, which are generally fuel-oxidizer mixes with an ammonium nitrate base. General properties of these explosives are covered. The specific products used by EERL are discussed in detail as are the media in which they were used. The present techniques available for procuring explosives are also discussed.
