Calendars of local documents are included, but not Calendars of Wills, because I hope later to issue a separate velon'e which will give a bibliography of books on Wills, arranged under counties. The auxiliary lists at the end, printed as appendices, contain chie y such references as I have thought might get overlooked. These appendices designedly omit many well-known hooks, and they are purposely limited to the less-known bibliographies, indexes, &c.
