FIRB-Perf 2005 addresses these issues by focusing on new methods, techniques, and tools for performance evaluation. The papers cover topics that encompass all aspects of performance evaluation, from measurement techniques and workload characterization, to formalisms for modeling qualitative and quantitative aspects of complex systems, to automatic generation of predictive and validation models, to solution methods of analytical, numerical, and simulation systems.
