Part 4 focuses on the broad support for quality child care, early education, and school-age programs among parents, public officials, and others, including findings from multiple polls demonstrating strong support for investments in these areas. Each section contains references. The book's appendices include tables of state-by-state data on maternal labor force participation, number of regulated child care settings, percent of schools offering extended-day programs, and other relevant information.
