Book excerpt: Released 9 November 2017 The national need for a common lexicon to describe and organize the cybersecurity workforce and requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) led to the creation of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NICE Framework). The NICE Framework defines the spectrum of cybersecurity work as well as tasks and knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) for over 50 common Work Roles. Why buy a book you can download for free? We print this book so you don't have to. First you gotta find a good clean (legible) copy and make sure it's the latest version (not always easy). Some documents found on the web are missing some pages or the image quality is so poor, they are difficult to read.
