This contention is supported with clear diagrams that show how each letter fits its respective monogram. The Hammer and Sickle meets all the criteria of the mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:17-18). This book explodes the standard interpretation that Revelation is only about Nero and the Roman Empire. This book purports that the Fourth Kingdom is Russia, not Rome. The book's thesis is also supported by an interpretation of the Book of Daniel. Each chapter of Daniel is interpreted. The evils of Marxism are examined, and the persecution of Christians during the period of the USSR (the Beast that was) is revealed. How the West was deceived by perestroika is examined. The so-called collapse of communism will be seen to have been an illusion. The Soviet Union will return: the Beast that is to come. The current balance of power is also considered. Not only is the First Beast of Revelation identified as the USSR, but modern Israel is identified as the Second Beast. Islam (Mecca) is identified as the great city Babylon the Great. Each interpretation is richly supported with sound arguments based upon the scriptures and the unfolding of history. The iconography of the Soviet era is also compared with standard Satanic symbols and imagery.
