She talks about self-identity, the journey, the process, the relationship, and the commitment. She shares the importance of trusting God and having faith regardless of the circumstance. Sometimes you must lose everything to gain something greater. Her desire is to encourage, inspire and empower others through her testimony to live authentically and boldly for Christ and allow God’s will to come into alignment and be who he has called us to be.

Little did Katherine dream growing up in a single-parent home in The Bahamas, the path God had for her life. He had a divine purpose and plan for her future. She was destined to be an "over-comer". The book goes on to share her two failed marriages, and her ordeal with breast cancer. In the midst of all her storms, she was confident God was present and making no mistakes about her life. She never lost Hope or Faith in God despite her many trials. She gives God praise for taking her through these various tribulations triumphantly and conquering the enemy. The author provides a wonderful example for others as to how they, too, can achieve and be victorious against many odds-with God's help. Katherine now lives in Albany, Georgia and is a member of Sherwood Baptist Church. She has two wonderful sons, Kyhiel and Anthony, "Kylie".
