Book Synopsis Automated Hierarchical Synthesis of Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits and Systems by : Fábio Passos

Download or read book Automated Hierarchical Synthesis of Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits and Systems written by Fábio Passos. This book was released on 2020-07-11. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book describes a new design methodology that allows optimization-based synthesis of RF systems in a hierarchical multilevel approach, in which the system is designed in a bottom-up fashion, from the device level up to the (sub)system level. At each level of the design hierarchy, the authors discuss methods that increase the design robustness and increase the accuracy and efficiency of the simulations. The methodology described enables circuit sizing and layout in a complete and automated integrated manner, achieving optimized designs in significantly less time than with traditional approaches.

Book Synopsis Computational Intelligence in Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Radio-Frequency (RF) Circuit Design by : Mourad Fakhfakh

Download or read book Computational Intelligence in Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Radio-Frequency (RF) Circuit Design written by Mourad Fakhfakh. This book was released on 2015-07-14. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explains the application of recent advances in computational intelligence – algorithms, design methodologies, and synthesis techniques – to the design of integrated circuits and systems. It highlights new biasing and sizing approaches and optimization techniques and their application to the design of high-performance digital, VLSI, radio-frequency, and mixed-signal circuits and systems. This first of two related volumes addresses the design of analog and mixed-signal (AMS) and radio-frequency (RF) circuits, with 17 chapters grouped into parts on analog and mixed-signal applications, and radio-frequency design. It will be of interest to practitioners and researchers in computer science and electronics engineering engaged with the design of electronic circuits.

Book Synopsis Analog Layout Synthesis by : Helmut E. Graeb

Download or read book Analog Layout Synthesis written by Helmut E. Graeb. This book was released on 2010-09-28. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Integrated circuits are fundamental electronic components in biomedical, automotive and many other technical systems. A small, yet crucial part of a chip consists of analog circuitry. This part is still in large part designed by hand and therefore represents not only a bottleneck in the design flow, but also a permanent source of design errors responsible for re-designs, costly in terms of wasted test chips and in terms of lost time-to-market. Layout design is the step of the analog design flow with the least support by commercially available, computer-aided design tools. This book provides a survey of promising new approaches to automated, analog layout design, which have been described recently and are rapidly being adopted in industry.

Book Synopsis Automated Design of Analog and High-frequency Circuits by : Bo Liu

Download or read book Automated Design of Analog and High-frequency Circuits written by Bo Liu. This book was released on 2013-11-27. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Computational intelligence techniques are becoming more and more important for automated problem solving nowadays. Due to the growing complexity of industrial applications and the increasingly tight time-to-market requirements, the time available for thorough problem analysis and development of tailored solution methods is decreasing. There is no doubt that this trend will continue in the foreseeable future. Hence, it is not surprising that robust and general automated problem solving methods with satisfactory performance are needed.
